Christians are monotheistic, i.e., they believe there's only one God, and he created the heavens and the earth. This divine Godhead consists of three parts: the father God, the son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Christianity is the only religion where God is born as a man and becomes fully human. This is the height of enlightenment. All other religions teach that humans must work their way toward divinity. Christianity is that Jesus is the Son of God, the second person of the Trinity of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; that his life on earth, his crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension into heaven are proof of God's love for humanity and God's forgiveness of human sins.
